Vol. 1 No. 1 (2025): REGULAR ISSUE*
The SOPHIA: Indonesian Journal of Feminist Studies Vol. 1 No. 1–2 is the first edition of SOPHIA to be published in digital format, following its previous publication in print. This volume was scheduled for publication in June and December 2025, but could only be published digitally in August 2026.
The delay was primarily caused by (1) the digitization process and migration of journal management to the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform, which has been underway since 2025; and (2) the manuscript review and revision process, which took longer than initially anticipated.
All articles published in this volume have followed the principles of academic journal publishing, including an initial editorial screening, double-blind peer review by two anonymous reviewers, manuscript editing at the copyediting stage, and the finalization of manuscripts for production. These processes can be traced through the dates recorded for each manuscript.
We apologize for the delay in publication and remain committed to maintaining the quality of the editorial process in future issues.
Warm regards,
Editorial Team
